LSS Vista (or Elite) allows an LSS model and optionally a pre-defined flight path to be saved as a LSS Virtual Model (LVM).

It is possible to distribute the LVM file, together with the LSS 3D Vantage program, to a third party for them to fly-around the model on their own computer without them requiring LSS. Normally there is no charge for the LSS 3D Vantage program, however royalty payments may be required if it is used as part of another commercial package or is distributed widely.

Already proved in planning meetings and public inquries, LSS 3D Vantage is the most effective way to communicate a proposal when paper plans and cross sections are not enough.

The user of LSS 3D Vantage is able to switch models on and off, control field of view angles, speed of movement through the model, add fog and a 'clip distance' to increase performance on slower computers.

Control of the flight is either by pre-defined flightpath, determined by the LSS user who created the virtual model, or by keyboard and mouse, joystick or gamepad.

This contains a copy of the LSS 3D Vantage virtual viewer program and a simple model of a quarry. Download this file and unzip into a folder of your choice. Then, simply drag the file 'Quarry.lvm' over the program file and it should load automatically.
If the fly-through is jerky then this could mean that you do not have enough computer resources (especially graphics) to perform this task. If this is the case then please contact us for advice.
You can interrupt the fly-through at any time by pressing the spacebar. Hitting it again will resume. Once interrupted you will be able to navigate around the model as you wish. See the menus for the keys or joystick settings.

For those who know they have a decent graphics card (i.e. NVIDIA Ge-Force with 32Mb or better) then this model should offer you a very rewarding experience. Download this file and unzip into a folder of your choice. Then, simply drag the file 'Weston.lvm' over the program file and it should load automatically.
