In use with several waste management operators and many more consultants
and surveyors, LSS contains the tools necessary to plan, design, monitor,
visualise and restore landfill sites. From inception, LSS is used to
perform environmental and visual impact assessments, model the existing
ground surface and determine volumes if in existing void areas, or finished
profile surfaces if above ground operations are planned.
Cell
designs and access ramps may be produced, daily / weekly / monthly volumes
compared and broken down by cell, material, or zones of operation.
When
bulking factors are known, LSS is able to adjust restored surfaces to
allow for settlement, thus resulting in a more accurate final design.
