LSS is licensed to users. The annual licence fee includes maintenance, updates and telephone support. LSS is protected by a hardware security device which allows each copy of LSS to be run on any suitable computer within the organisation of the Licensee. So, all you pay is an annual maintenance fee which gives you access to technical support and software updates.

Licence fees are payable on delivery and each anniversary of the first copy delivery date. If a user later requires extra copies of LSS, the appropriate ANNUAL FEE is invoiced on delivery of the extra copy.

Upgrading some or all existing copies just requires the payment of the difference in ANNUAL FEE for each copy upgraded, invoiced on delivery of the upgrade.

For extra copies or upgrades supplied part way through a licence year, the next annual fee will be adjusted pro-rata to bring them in line with the first copy.

DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND TRAINING
The above prices include delivery within the UK. LSS is user-installable and as such there is no provision in the above pricing for installation.

LSS comes complete with context sensitive Help facilities and front-line technical support. However, to obtain the maximum benefit from LSS and to ensure its economic operation, we recommend a training day after initial familiarisation and at least one further day when some competence has been achieved to investigate particular applications in detail. Training can take place at our offices in Birdlip or at the customer site. Please see the section on training for more details of the courses on offer.

Payment

We do not accept payment by Credit or Debit Card. Orders are accepted from bona fide organisations and sole traders, but please contact us before placing your order as we will need full contact details and, in some circumstances, payment before shipping the software. Delivery within the UK is included and is by 1st Class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. For those requiring delivery by a specific time, we are able to offer Royal Mail Special Delivery, but this carries an additional charge of £10 per order.

Overseas orders (outside of the UK) will be shipped by Express Secure Courier and will be charged at cost. The cost is approximately £30 - £50 per order depending on speed and destination.
